La actuación en un programa en vivo de mediados de los 60 de la televisión americana de Don Gibson y el espléndido solo de guitarra del legendario guitarrista del Grand Ole Opry Jimmy "Spider" Wilson fue el corte que me inspiró a interpretarla con más dureza y poderío. Colin Ward conocía la versión de Johnny Cash y sabía que podía darle el fuego que requerían esos cambios abiertos de acordes en el puente. Desde el principio tenía claro que la guitarra barítono podía darle un músculo esencial a los versos y especialmente apoyar con un riff melódico los acordes del puente. Si encontraba al baterista que aportara la intensidad necesaria, estaba hecho. La batería de Jesús López hizo el resto. El resultado es memorable.

Era uno de nuestros mejores temas con Desperate 45's y desde entonces era el año 2012, estaba deseoso de grabarla en estudio.
